Qualifications and skills required:

• Master’s degree in architecture completed;
• 1 to 3 years’ relevant experience;
• Excellent command of Autocad software;
• Knowledge of SketchUp an asset;
• Good command of the Quebec Construction Code;
• Good command of French (oral and written);
• Good ability to work in a team and on several projects at the same time;
• Autonomy, rigor and organizational skills;
• Positive, solution-oriented attitude;
• The person we’re looking for will be called upon to work at several scales on different types of projects.

Responsibilities :

• Work at every stage of a project: study, sketches, design, plans and specifications, tendering and site supervision;
• Participate in the preparation of architectural renderings and presentation documents;
• Prepare budget estimates;
• Ensure the quality of deliverables and compliance with deadlines;
• Coordinate different disciplines within a single project (civil, structural, mechanical/electrical or other consultants);
• Select materials, finishes, furniture and equipment;
• Manage and supervise site work and ensure its conformity and quality;
• Participate in site meetings, draft minutes and progress reports;
• Help solve technical problems;
• Prepare and track deficiency lists for all non-conformances.
