Sainte-Christine-d’Auvergne Family and Seniors Policy

The implementation of Sainte-Christine-d’Auvergne’s first Family and Seniors Policy contributes to the achievement of the following general objectives: to promote the retention and development of families and seniors; to enable seniors to age well in their own homes; to strengthen the municipality’s ability to attract new families to its territory and ensure its revitalization; to improve its knowledge of the characteristics and needs of families and seniors; and to strengthen its relationships with local stakeholders.

It is a tool for designing, supervising and implementing various public and private actions for families, each of which is still today a basic element of society, evolving according to its composition and structure. Shaped by a diagnosis of the environment and municipal consultation highlighting the issues, needs and expectations of the community, its implementation will improve the quality of life of all family members: newborns, children, teenagers, parents and seniors.
