Clermont Park

Urban redevelopment of an abandoned commercial space. The concept was inspired by wood processing, an important source of economic activity in the region. The design encourages interaction between the user and the environment, and reinforces the memory of the site. Users walk along a wooden footbridge alongside the Malbaie River, passing through the major stages of wood processing, from source to finished product. The journey ends at a public gathering place.
