Qualifications and skills required:
- DEC in Architectural Technology;
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience;
- Excellent command of Autocad and REVIT software;
- Knowledge of SketchUp an asset;
- Good command of the Quebec Construction Code;
- Good command of French (oral and written);
- Good ability to work in a team and on several projects at the same time;
- Autonomy, rigor and organizational skills;
- Positive, solution-oriented attitude;
- The person we’re looking for will be called upon to work at several scales on different types of projects.
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the project manager or architect;
- Carry out surveys and draw up plans;
- Develop plans and produce technical drawings from design or instruction drawings;
- Design and produce details in compliance with norms and standards;
- Adopt and follow technical program guidelines to ensure compliance. Ensure the application of building codes, municipal by-laws or any other technical report or document related to the mandates;
- Develop technical solutions in line with the conceptual orientations predefined in the mandate;
- Interact and collaborate with different professionals to solve technical problems;
- Produce or collaborate on construction cost estimates.
